The first 600 eligible cars will be welcomed to participate in the Expo. This event is held on the flight line of an active military airfield. Regulations require anyone driving into the airfield environment to submit vehicle and driver information to US Air Force security forces in advance. The registration form will request the year, make, and model of the vehicle along with the operator’s Driver’s License information and the last four digits of their SSN . For the purpose of registration, the driver and vehicle register in the same form, even if someone other than the owner will be driving the car. On event day, the registered car must be driven onto the airfield by the registered driver. Deviations from the information provided in the original registration form must be reported to the event organizers prior to event day. Last minute identity proofing or driver swaps may delay or prevent the car’s participation.
Registration for cars participating in the Expo is free. However, to compete for any awards, a $25 fee is required. This event is not for profit. It is for the love of all things mechanical! The fees will be used to cover overhead costs. Any profits will be distributed to local charities.
Expo vehicles with successful registration will park in the designated Expo lot on the flight line and do NOT need a Visitor Parking Pass.
On event day, Expo cars must arrive between 0830-1030 using Schneider Gate. The Beale AFB gates will NOT be open to non-Expo vehicles until 1100. Arriving between 0830-1030 deconflicts Expo cars from the general public traffic, allows time for credentialing and marshalling onto the airfield, and gives registrants a rare opportunity to have vehicles professionally photographed in front of our static aircraft displays prior to parking. Expo registrants arriving to credentialing after 1030 will miss the photo op with our jets and should expect delays, increased traffic, and detours which may be include small gravel or unprepared road surfaces.
